Costa Ballena Womens Club

Providing a venue for Community service, Social activities, and Business networking for women living in the Costa Ballena area of Southern Costa Rica. We meet on the third Saturday of the month for lunch, fellowship and business networking. Originally founded as a venue for women’s business networking, We have expanded from just a business networking group to a community networking group. Look for our newsletter, which is published once a month on the 10th. We also provide a woman’s Business Directory and website ads for our members at a reasonable cost.

In the community service area, we support the Girls Orphanage in San Isidro, raise money for the local school needs, collect holiday gifts & music instruments for children, and make the community aware of recycling locations. The Costa Ballena Security Planning is an offshoot of our community service projects.  A community Library is being formed. 

New here ? Just moved? We have newcomer's support group, that will help with adjusting to life here, translation services, language classes, where to shop and what to do. We support any new members to the community.

Women's health, and womens issues in Costa Rica are a concern, we try to make all aware of healthy life choices and women’s issues.

We have interest groups from yoga, gardening, gourmet cooking, wine tasting, book exchanges. We have it all !! the Women’s groups are very active..

We have also added road trips and social events...so many points of interests. Places we would like to see, but never seem to get around to it. From stone spheres, garden tours, beach parties, waterfall tours.
